what he wore: natty, or nattiest?

I know there's a little bit of an Angus Young thing going on here, but Oliver was irresistibly adorable today. He is right at two and a half years old right now and there has never been a cuter time. The things this guy says. He called chocolate "tsAKolate", as in "I like to eat that tsAkolate. It has very good flavor.". He asked me the other day, referring to I don't even remember what, something like "I think it's possible that we can make that happened, right, mom?". Off the hook.

Where'd I get that wonderful vintage little shirt? Etsy. I am really late to catch on to all that Etsy has to offer, but it is a great place to find little gems like this. I will hopefully get my watercolor cards and some other items I've been collecting up in my own shop in the next few months, definitely by the fall.

Anyway, look what I found when I downloaded these photos. Stella had been playing around with the camera this morning before school. What a beauty!

  2. I love your boy's outfit! My son just started saying words and I can't even imagine when the time comes where I can have a conversation with him and hear all the crazy little things he is actually thinking. Love it all girl.

    1. Hi dbstevens! Yes, there is a heck of a lot of magic going on around here right now. And Etsy, YES! How did I not really know much about it until last year? I must be getting old! :)

  4. Great outfit!

My mom is always telling me to write down all the little verbal gems. I was much better with my first!

    1. Thanks, Ann. I have barely written anything down. Terrible! It's really hard to remember the things the first one said after the second one comes along, which is strange and kind of a bummer. :)

  6. He is so adorable! Two and a half is the funnest, most adorable, most exasperating age! Leilee will be three in a few months, and she is such a kick in the pants.

    1. Hi Nicole! I do fear it's all downhill from here. The loss of innocence as toddlers and preschoolers grow up and figure things out is probably why some women have more than one or two children! It's SO much fun during this phase.

I just stopped by your blog. Thank you for linking me up in your post about blogs your were going to sit down and read, and also, I see that you are struggling just a bit with NaBloPoMo. Keep it up! It ebbs and flows for almost everyone. I did the exercise for four months and I think the most I posted was 27 days one month. It's just good practice, but not essential to write every day. The bigger benefit is all the cool people you meet through NaBloPoMo anyway, right? :)
