egg factory

This Egg Factory has been around since I was a little girl. My mother painted it and built it from a kit back in the 70's, and I have since then glued it back together several times, horribly I might add. Egg Factory is a magnet for little hands and curious eyes. This is how the Easter Bunny gets his eggs, people. It's quite a production!

Speaking of productions, and eggs, I pulled out some of the props for my April solo act today. I'm eggcited!

These things aren't even the punchline! It's crazy, the shows are just a few weeks away. I haven't performed since December, I need to get fired up. I want to retool this act a little bit. It was my debut solo act one year ago and I'm sure I can put a different spin on it if I get on it, like, NOW! Wow, I just looked at the calendar. I'm officially in a panic!

    1. Hey Ann. I know! Those little AND big eggs are some of my prized possessions these days! I wish I could find the make of the factory kit....my mom also made Xmas ornaments from the same sorts of kits. So cool.

  3. I love the egg factory, so cool. My mom used to make so much stuff for us too...home made candles, we painted designs and then sent them in to be made for plates. She also made these great beaded ornaments during the holidays.

Good luck with your solo (I love big props like those eggs).

    1. I am way less crafty than my mom, although I have other talents! I looked LONG AND HARD for those eggs last year, finally found them on eBay. I also use a giant Sugar Daddy in the act, which also took me a while to find. But recently I was over near Oakland at an Etsy event in a shopping center there, and there is a candy chain store that sells giant EVERYTHING, so I might go look around there one more time before the show! :)
